Bardi’s Bowl Chair

Italian born architect Lina Bo Bardi has been merging European modernism and influences of her adopted country Brazil throughout her designs – simple lines, geometric forms and a pop of color.
Bardi’s 1950s designed Bowl Chair combines those elements with industrialized fabrication and flexibility in the human interaction. It questions the upright way people were supposed to sit by encouraging free movement and more relaxed postures.
